    HBO's Omission of Haye.....

In the post fight HBO presented a list of future possible opponents for HW Champion Wladimir Klitschko. They were:

    Sam Peter
    Nicolay Valuev
    Alex Povetkin
    Chris Arreola

Noticeably absent from da list was David "Gaymaker" Haye. Could it be that he's done jack **** at hw and is full of hot air? HBO's not buying into the hype, so why should boxingscene?....

It could be because Haye's last fight was on Showtime and he's never appeared on their network unlike the ones they mentioned. If they feature Haye in his next fight that will all change very quickly.

I think they are waiting for him to fight someone with a pulse at HW. Plus I think he still technically still owns a belt at CW. We have some brits on here that already have him unifying the division, lol.

That's a good answer Scott; not the answer I was looking for, but good just the same...

How about them hyping up Arreola just because he's American, and has been featured on their network.

HBO neglects to mention Showtime fighters and Haye fought Maccarinelli on Showtime, the same night HBO showed the Maskaev-Peter heavyweight title fight.

That is correct. I was trying to think of that because I remember juggling both shows. Golden Boy has signed Haye now so we'll see where he shows up in his next fight.

Haye is far more entertaining than Valuev or Areloa or whatever his name is
