James has proved himself. He's a great, hall of fame fighter. I hope he gives one last great performance here.
Great fighter. But Gringo, you watch that video? He honestly looks different. If hes in shape, I know hes 39...but with those skills/being in shape, I think JT is still trouble.

Yeah that was the vid I was talking about. Great to see him in some sort of shape.

Out of all the great American Middleweights/Super Middleweights - Jones, Hopkins and Toney - Toney is the guy I respect and like the most as a fighter.

He does look like he's in better shape, but until I see him in the ring weighing 230 or less I can't buy into it. If he really dedicated himself to this fight then he can pull it off. Rahman has looked awful lately as well.

Thats definitley true. Remember for the second Peter fight he looked in better shape, and weighed in 230+ Billy Blanks my ass.lol. So you never know with JT, but lets hope this time its for real. I really don't like how Rahman is making fun of JT's speech. I hope JT whoops his ass for that.

It's not about being in shape any more though. James has clearly slowed down in the last two years. It's to the point now where I fear for his health. Good thing he's in the ring with a guy who's more shot than him. Rock was getting knocked all over the ring by Zuri Lawrence.

Is he safe to box? His speech is very slurred in the interview. I know he always loves to rant, but usually its a bit easier to understand. Maybe its just the quality of the recording?
