Bunce is a pundit not a commentator, and he always says something controversial to get attention. He's a ****

Im sorry but is there a new rule that only Ukranians or something can slag off Yank heavyweights?

Bunce didnt exactly champion the Britihs heavyweight scene. He was just commenting on how piss poor the Americans have been in recent years. Jeez get over it.

Good point - Thompson did the absolute best he could - you didn't see him taking a knee after being hit hard.

But the HBO crew had too much class to say something like that about Lockett.

And to be fair, HBO is more professional coverage. This was Steve Bunce - who fancies himself as a bit of an outpsoken pundit - mouthing off on a rant.

I heard some Yank on the Fight Network today saying that the Heavyweight division has been a waste of time since Holyfield lost the title. Bitter ****.
In my eyes and in many others Thompson did more than expected and confused Klitchko with his defense even tho he was dominated for most of the bout.As a fighter he should never be called a coward and as a commentator Bunce should know that

            Wait and see.
Chambers is garbage, Arreola like to get hit Haye will take advantage of that. I don't know enough about Walker and Barrett to comment.

I agree a fighter shouldnt be called a coward but at the end of the day, Bunce tries to be controversial at times. Im sure he didnt mean it in that sense of the word. But Thompson really shouldnt have even bothered turning up.

he should not have called him a coward if he did say that i cant remember

i was disapointed in Thompson will to dig in though TBH his trainer looked like he had given up trying to pick Thompson up inbetween rounds, Thompson was just not following his intrustions at all and at one point he had to tell him to get his head up and that was at the midway point of the fight

After that show today it just makes me realise how poor the division actually is.

Both Bernard Hopkins and Joe Calzaghe could move up and be contenders, even at their age today.
