Thompson took a solid beating, standing up to Klitschko's shots better than most but he did give up late in the fight. It could've been his ankle because it seemed to me like he hurt himself at some point of the fight.
He was also behind on points and taking punishment without much to offer so I can't blame him.
He was being out muscled and out fought in the late rounds, but to his defence he cut klitchko and brused his eye.We are talking about fighters who get in the ring for a living and give punishment as well as taking it.I want to see that commentator in the ring with Klitchko and show what heart he considers to be a "warrior".He went over to Vlads back yard and fought to the best of his abilities and deserves respect from a suposed professional commentator.

The irony of a Yank complaining about a British commentator not giving one of their fighters credit is quite staggering!

What Heavyweights in Britain can compete with Wlad and take his crown, besides the over hyped and overmatched David Haye.

Not once will you find a HBO or Showtime commentator call one of your fighters a coward or gutless

Well that's a **** move and pretty uncalled for. They may be talentless, but to call them gutless and cowards is a bit much. I dont know where that comes from either.

I didnt say anything about British heavyweights mate. Even if we had no one, it wouldnt change the fact that the American ones might as well not be there.

Dunno how Haye can be overmatched or whatever when hes had one fight at heavyweight and KOed the guy in a minute. But whatever.....

To be fair, Danny Williams or even Matt Skelton would probably have given it a better go than Thompson.

Thats cos none of our fighters are.

Thompson was ****. No need to sugarcoat it. He was looking for a way out near the end and didnt offer up the slightest threat to Wlad.

                    theyre cowards
they rather jab and run around knowing they will lose
than trade blows with the hope they can win

When Lockett was taking repeated knees to save himself from further brain damage the commentators could of said somthing of the sort, but no they gave him credit and said it was a good showing.
