Another reason why you should watch the fight, not look at the results on boxrec (not necessarily referring to you).

He lost by one point - a split decision after nine rounds because of an accidental headbutt.

I would also add that he lost by one point fighting in Santos' country (Puerto Rico).

And finally, he actually got stunned a couple more times in this fight. But anyone who watches Margarito knows he's a slow fighter - he roared back in this fight and took over down the stretch. Santos might've won the ninth but the fight was still up in the air. Going into the championship rounds, I thought Margarito was going to win or even score the KO.

THAT'S why I say he should show the whole fight. So many kids on here don't even watch boxing, they watch boxrec. And they don't even follow the sport, just their favorite fighter.

Let me clarify. I don't think Margarito won, I think he was winning. No one was stopped and the fight didn't go the distance. So it's not a matter of who we thought "won."

Not create one dedicated to "Margarito's serious fans." Because the more serious boxing fans will point out those little things like...the rest of the fight. The less serious fans will create a new thread showing the rest of the fight and dedicating it to "Margarito's biggest haters."

Yes, it is. The fight is stopped, you go to the scorecards, someone wins, someone loses, unless it's a draw. When that time comes, you think about who won and who lost, because there is no more fight to be fought that night. It's actually pretty simple unless you are concentrated on analyzing things to make up for the fact that Margarito lost, plain and simple.

The thread is not dedicated to his serious fans. Read carefully. I said dedicated to his nuthuggers. Then, in another sentence, I give my respects to him and to his serious fans.

You don't seem to realize the fight is already posted. Feel free to repost it and dedicate a fight Margarito lost to his "haters".
