So is the Somali moving up to MW for good or is he just ******** his luck to get a crack at Pavlik? I suppose the Kelly's belts are going to be at stake correct? I can't see Williams winning this fight but I think he can give Pavlik some problems, but in the end Somali is getting KTFO.

He is going to do to Pav what Williams and Clottey did the chimpanzee face looking Margarito. Out box him and lump him up. Hopefully he won't be robbed like Clottey was when clottey lumped margs up and was disrespected with a 118-109 score.

Williams has nothing to keep Kelly from reaching him. Pavlik is just going to shoot punches (a lot of them) down the middle and he'll eventually find Williams with something big. The jab/right hand will be in full effect.

No hate here bro and even we might agree to disagree sometimes,it aint no prob having fun once in a while......And even though i believe that Pav is too much for P.dub you never really know because P.Dub does have all the physical attributes to give Pav hell just dont think he will pull it off.I would have rather seen him fight the winner of the Cotto/Margarito because he would beat Margo again and give Cotto hell but either way i give him credit for having the cojones(balls) to fight whomever ,just hope he prepares himself to death for this one.peace

Watch or reference the first Quintana fight. Williams doesn't control space well. I know he crushed Carlos in the second fight, but in the first he just allowed Carlos to throw punches and fall in at will. It happened in the Matthysse fight as well. He let a shorter man get to him way too often by neglecting to use his height/reach to control space. His relative lack of consistent punching power also had something to do with this.

A guy as smart as Pavlik, smart as in he recognizes and capitalizes on opportunities, will exploit this. He's gonna find all types of openings with the jab/right after he goes to it enough. I think it will all catch up to Williams and he'll have a lot of trouble defending against it after a few rounds.

It would also be just the second time, in a number of fights, that Williams fought someone who holds the same physical characteristics he holds. Tall, long arms, great stamina. It will be an interesting fight. Pretty special if Williams somehow pulls it off.

Paul is going to be in trouble just fighting a bigger man. Paul can fight inside. He doesn't have to stay there, he can just rest there, clinch, spin PAv, do what it takes against a bigger man. JT had no inside fight game, Paul does. Paul has a jab, and if he can pump it like a piston like he always does, he can drop a bomb behind it. Paul hasn't shown power in some people's eyes because he has fought smaller guys. It was hard to land on them. He showed it against Quintana, but he is content to break down his opponent. The PAv jab is the key to the fight. If PAv can land the jab coming forward, Paul will probably get stopped. If Paul can avoid the jab, and apply his own, he has a great chance to win.
