  • Before Williams starts his training, he should first work on his will and funeral arrangements. Pavlik is gonna murder that beanstalk. With that said, i give much props to Williams for taking such a risk

Be nice to know if he got his ko's thru punching power or an accumilation of punches. I only wonder because I don't think he can overwhelm Pavlik and will need to bring some fire power if he wants to compete. Jmo.
i agree with that! i think pavlik will be to much in the end, but i see a good fight. punches will be flying like a mofo.

      • Williams has nothing to keep Kelly from reaching him. Pavlik is just going to shoot punches (a lot of them) down the middle and he'll eventually find Williams with something big. The jab/right hand will be in full effect.

        • So is the Somali moving up to MW for good or is he just ******** his luck to get a crack at Pavlik? I suppose the Kelly's belts are going to be at stake correct? I can't see Williams winning this fight but I think he can give Pavlik some problems, but in the end Somali is getting KTFO.

          • If Williams wins this fight, particularly somehow by KO, boxing will have a new megastar. He would have multi-million dollar options in a few different weight classes.

            • In other words, if you're a neutral observer here, you have to root for Williams. Boxing would benefit greatly from a Williams win.

Williams has a hard time making welterweight, the JMW is basically a dead division with no lucrative fights, so a fight with Pavlik will get him so good money. But if Williams loses to Pavlik it will be a setback towards his career. If Williams wants to be campaigning in MW he should do his best to avoid Pavlik and Abraham.
Do his best to avoid AA or Pav??? He isn't thinking like you, he is thinking about Williams. He thinks he can win while you don't. Simply comical.

Yeah, but there is a chance he could beat the tall, boulder headed, bumper car brained Pav.
