RJJ is far from done

No one can be the fighter he once was

But he can be smart, craftier, adapt a more grizzled approach to his attacks almost like Hopkins

that's what happens when you get older

he still has speed and good reflexes

but he probably picked up some more heart and will along the way

he can beat the best out there

He can beat Wright, De la hoya, Hopkins, Joe, Trinidad, Pavlik, Taylot, P. Williams

Just because we saw get KO'd by the big boys in LHW don't mean he's shot...it just looks bad...really really bad

Because he is not the same RJJ that lost to Johnson and Tarver. He can't rely on his legs anymore so he had 3 tune up fights to turn himself into a different fighter, one that can take advantage of speed and power and counterpunching instead of movement, fluidity, and surprise.

you know I think Tyson lost some of his "badass" factor!

but he can still scrap...i will tell you this...if Tyson decides to fight again...and train hard...he can still **** and rank in the top 15 of the heavyweights...

and he can even salvage a small career again on Friday Night Fights....and to me there's nothing wrong for a fighter to go back to the basics...a fighter is supposed to fight someone a notch above him or a notch below him to give that lesser fighters a chance at the spotlight...yea he can do some things on ESPN....against some scrappies

Shot is when a great fighter can no longer dispatch someone like they would have in their prime......especially against opponents who are journeymen

Shot is a Mike Tyson losing to the likes of Kevin McBride & Danny Williams both whom we never heard of before the fight and damn sure havent heard much from after. THATS a shot fighter.

Roy is NOT that. Roy beat both Prince Badi Ajamu & Anthony Hanshaw convincingly with Unanimous Decisions, and made them look foolish at times like they didnt belong (what we expect him to do). Now when Roy starts losing to no names then i'll call him shot
