If Roy was still trying to fight like he did in the style he used in his prime, then he could be considered shot I think.

But the new Winky Wright style relies a lot on his defense and timing, which don't seem to be shot to be honest.

I vote somewhere in between.

he kept his hands up and counter punched off the guard against Hanshaw and Trinidad (i've never seen the Prince fight)........but true, Hanshaws not an elite fighter and Titos past his prime but the fact is that Roys showing discipline and ability to change his style.....if you've ever boxed thats extremely hard to do especially after many years of using the same style

JCs def a step up but i thinks Roy has a hell of a chance to take this......i mean look what a 43 year old Hopkins did to em, now add some power, way more speed, and counter punching ability and you have a serious problem for Calzaghe

RJJ is far from done

No one can be the fighter he once was

But he can be smart, craftier, adapt a more grizzled approach to his attacks almost like Hopkins

that's what happens when you get older

he still has speed and good reflexes

but he probably picked up some more heart and will along the way
