And yet you have him in your top ten P4P anyway.

We don't know if the chin/stamina will carry up to heavy... they could be resolved by the move upwards.

But like I say Kayjay, after watching two safety first tedious fights on the bounce from Wlad it's clear to see why people are excited about this guy.

26 year old Eddie Chambers is done? Why, because he lost a close decision to a gold medalist? One who he dominated for the first 5 or 6 rounds? Chambers would be a nightmare opponent for Haye.

I have Cotto in my top 10 p4p. Would I favor him to beat Pavlik? Hell no.

bolded are the hw's that he might lose to but the rest I am sure he could take care of. also remember, he isn't gonna fight as a hw the way he did as a cruiser. he fought a very entertaining style in order to gain recognition but his goal at hw is gonna be more to win cuz he will have the recognition of just stepping in the ring with the hw's. I'm sure his defense will be much improved.

            Not relevant to my point.

              Exact. Same. Difference.

A shorter, less powerful boxer with a questionable chin moving up in weight to face the dominant fighter in the division.

i find it laughable that people say haye is "small" for a heavyweight when the current crop of heavys are for the most part 10 to 15 pounds over weight and out of shape. Being fat doesn't make you naturally bigger

Repeat: Not. Relevant. To. My. Point.

You want me to explain? Okay. The point I was addressing (by responding to a post of Kayjay's) was that Kayjay cites a list of technical flaws that Haye has in abundance... balance, inside fighting skills, stamina, etc. Yet Kayjay has him (privately, probably not in NSB for his own reasons) in his top ten P4P. If Kayjay believes that Haye was really so flawed on a TECHNICAL level, then why would he have him in his P4P list?

The issue of whether Haye's chin and power would register as heavyweight has nothing to do with that discussion.

                    Not. Relevant. To. My. Point.

Well he's small next to the guy he's been calling out for some time.
