Your basing that on what? his stamina has increased greatly since the Thompson fight, he has never fought on the inside because he hasn't been forced to so no one ha sseen his inside skills, not that it matter as non of the current Heavyweight's contemplate fighting on the inside. His chin is bad i'll give you that his balance is fine for the most part but he is off balance more than I'd like. He isn't small for a heavyweight either, he is small compared to Wlad, Vitali and Valuev but stands at either the same or very close to Peters and Chagaev.

Considering the rest of the bunch are rubbish and not worth mentioning, although Virchis is good and Povetkin but is a still a prospect and his career will be over because he wants to take on Wlad far to soon. Imbragov, Chambers, Povetkin and possibly Peters would all get taken apart by Haye. Wlad, (maybe) Vitali would proberbly beat him but even then he still has a punchers chance (against Wlad not Vitali) which is why I'd like to see him build experience at Heavyweight first.

Well he was floored by a single, glancing shot from a SMW, but he has improved since then.

Dimitrenko, Virchis, and Boytsov are exciting propositions at HW. Why don't you post about them?

        I know.
have you ever seen those guys?

        Virchis is to old
Boystov only fights bums and gets fatter with every fight
Dimitrenko is a prospect but he has no power and no chin.

i know. i brought it up because wlad fans love to bring up the former super middleweight thing.

just as they like to say wlad has improved from the puritty , sanders and brewster losses , who's to say haye hasn't or won't improve himself?

Not former SMW, current SMW. If Wlad/Haye fought today, I'd bet real money on Wlad. If they fight in 2 or 3 years, when Wlad is 34-35 with 60 or so pro fights, and Haye fights some real HWs in the meantime, my money would be on Haye.

Haye's balance is ok but he does get caught of balance sometimes not as much as Wlad i might add. He does rely on the overhand right but that is his signature punch i have seen him finish opponents with a right to the body and he set up the KO against Mormeck with an uppercut. Haye's inside skills looked ok against Mormeck. Haye's stamina has looked better recently but i admit his stamina going past the 8th is untested. Haye is not that small for a heavyweight he is naturally bigger than Sultan and Chageav.
Haye's chin might be weak at heavyweight we will have to wait and see.

Haye's main problem at heavyweight's gonna be his chin, but his punch power, speed of punch, balance and timing are all better than 95% of heavyweights out there right now. I genuinely believe he's a future linear heavyweight champion, unless his chin lets him down.

His power is not better than 95%.

The problem with the overhand right is that it doesn't work against people taller than you. Haye needs distance and a shorter opponent.

Also Haye will have to fight inside at HW, which is why I mentioned it. He needs a different defense, and he needs to keep balance when throwing hooks. All this is hard to learn after the age of 27.

Haye loves fighting people that are taller than him, and the overhand right isn't his only punch. He does need a better defense because of his weak chin, but if he works at that I think he'll go all the way at h/w. And if he doesn't, at least you know his fights'll be a lot more exciting than most heavyweight fights we get these days.

You just need a different set of eyes for a HW fight. They're chess matches in which a single punch ends it. If you want to see flailing punches and not stop pitter patter, that's what the midget divisions are for.
