okay here's the article i was talking about that i read in bunte while i was in bonn visiting my sister. i read the english version of the same magazine at the airport but i could only find the german article online.

for those who can't i had my sister translate the part where wlad was asked about the rumors in the tabloids about he and vitali's sexuality.

It gives the ****sexual man a psychological advantage. He can exploit their sexual aligments prior to the fight. Not good.

Remember the Jenny Jones show where the gay guy confronted the guy he was in love with? remember how the gay guy ended up dead?

It's a dynamic that shouldn't be allowed in combat, end of story.

Simply because of the chance of exploitation.

By that same logic, it was also good that blacks weren't often allowed to fights whites in the past. I mean, obviously if a white guy didn't like blacks, it would put him at a psychological disadvantage having to be near a black guy in the ring.

I never choosed to be gay, in fact i was very depressed when i knew i was it. It took me a long time to accept it and to be able to live normaly and to feel good.

For me to read what some say on this thread is really pathetic. That some people still in 2008 think that gay boxers shouldnt be allowed.That people still thinks that a person that is gay only think of sex, even when he is in the ring and fighting. Absurd.

But im sure that some people that cant stand gay boxers, doesnt mind to see a lesbian boxer. Maybe because its a dream for some straith macho masucline, paththic persons.

A former boyfreind to me trained shootfighting, and boxing to. And i did visiting him sometimes when he trained or when he had a fight.

And as soon it came out my boyfreind was gay, it didnt that long for some men to insult him or me at the gym. However most didnt care, becasue they was there to learn to box and to train. Not to have sex. As some posters think that gay men only do.

And from what i belive, some straith men feel somehow: threathend, fear to lose to a gay man, hate and that gay persons somehow threathend thier masculinity.

I may not be as masculin, macho, tough as straith men are, but i have never choose that ither. Still i have been thrue my life cursed at, spit on,
punched, beaten, and some of my best freinds have turned there backs on me when i came out.

Life has sometimes been tough on me but now life it good for me. However its really said to read what some people think about gay persons, not knowing how its like to be gay and to grow up and to feel different then "normal" people. To struggle to accept and move on in life.

Some straith men seams to think that all gay men are sissys, or extremly feminine.

Maybe because some doesnt want to know that it exists gay persons who live normal lifes, do things like straith people do, are masculin etc.

Hell my former boyfreind liked to box, shootfighting, and could bench press almost 200kg (around 420 pounds, maybe).

Maybe beacuse media almost only shows the really feminine, extreme type of gay persons.
