Well Pacquiao just came from a tune-up fight (Diaz). He's suppose to fight a superfight....not another tune-up fight.

Soto lost to Guzman and this fight doesn't do anything for Pac just like the Diaz fight except that it's worse since Soto doesn't have a title. Critics are already making excuses that Soto have to move up 5 lbs to lightweight to accomodate this fight. (sounds like an excuse to me)

If there is no fight for Pacquiao....why not Urban Antillon? The guy who also smashed Manny's lil' brother Bobby Pacquiao to smithereens in 1 round.

      Your thoughts?
Soto fought @ 140 less than a year ago when he fought Gonzalez. Weight is not an issue, Soto will be ready to rock and roll. Anyone thinking this isn't going to be a great fight really doesn't know boxing all that well. There's a reason Roach was quoted as saying Soto was Manny's biggest threat last year, and that still holds true IMO. Arum's been wanting to make this fight for awhile now, too.

I like boxers who use there defense and counter more then I like someone who punches then runs to the other side of the arena
I thought it was 13lbs., but I could be wrong. But, the Guzman-Soto fight was closer than what the judges had it IMO. I've only seen it once, but I remember it being a fairly close fight. Most people on messageboards are really swayed by commentators and judges, but not me.

This should be an entertaining fight but I think Pac wins without too much trouble. It would be nice if this one wasn't PPV but I'm sure it will be.

Soto's speed and power would deteriorate at 135. Mofo is slow, and he'll get slower at 135. Pac would just maul him.

Soto is better technically than Valero is and has massive power of his own. He would be the tougher fight IMO. Valero has no chance of beating Pacquaio unless he was to land something huge, but then again Pacquaio has a great jaw so betting on a knock out wouldn't be smart.

                      he doesn't like humberto.

he called him a bum in another pacquiao-soto thread.

i think he just rather see valero fight manny.
