Soto lost to Guzman and this fight doesn't do anything for Pac just like the Diaz fight except that it's worse since Soto doesn't have a title. Critics are already making excuses that Soto have to move up 5 lbs to lightweight to accomodate this fight. (sounds like an excuse to me)

If there is no fight for Pacquiao....why not Urban Antillon? The guy who also smashed Manny's lil' brother Bobby Pacquiao to smithereens in 1 round.

    Your thoughts?

soto koed manny's brother bobby pacquiao.
    this fight is PERSONAL!

Given the circumstances this is the best possible fight for pacquiao. I have a feeling soto will do very well against pacquiao.

Manny will have personal feelings about this fight which means he will be at his most ruthless and best. Soto will not see the final bell i am certain of it. Peace out

It's a tune up fight, but I think Soto is a better fighter then valero since I'm more impressed by soto's defense then I am of Valeros. The thing about pacman is that he is a great fighter, and thats comes with pros and cons... Pros, is that he makes for entertaining fights, cons meaning he is too much better then his opponent... Marquez is the only one who could ever come close to competing at Pacquiao's level

Fighting at lightweight will favor Soto because he's the taller guy.

soto is a good fighter but it's a tuneup fight for manny.

at this stage of his career , any manny fight that doesn't even a beltholder or a elite fighter is a tuneup fight.

soto is gonna be tough but his job is to keep manny crisp and busy before his next big money fight.

soto deserves this fight much more than valero. he might not have an 0 but he has fought much tougher opponents and much better resume.
