I'd LOVE to see this too.

Just keep in mind that ALL three options are poorly known fighters.
From a promotional standpoint, you're left with soundbite-worthiness,
meaning what you can put out through media, to draw in the casual fan.

Valero has this KO rep, and holds a legit belt.
Soto at least had newsworthy (albeit scandalous) recent exposure.
Antillon might be the best fighter of the 3, but is the weakest, promotionally.

A "Vengeance for Bobby Pacquiao" angle holds some ****ing promise, though, if the promoters milk every month leading up to November/
    **horge cackles with anticipation**

You sure Antillon's sked/head is clear for this?

Hey, Mayan, I was editing my post.

Is Antillon's sked/head DEFINITELY open for a November fight with Pac?

        Like I said...
There's some promotional legs to this if they mine it right.
Antillon can go the "One More Pacquiao To Dispose Of" route,
Pac can play the "Avenging My Brother" card.
All up to the promoters' skill...

Fan interest could be huge by November.

I have no idea, but he should be open for Novemeber. I mean he just came off the win over Cruz. But yeah, I really don't know howd they pitch the fight, but that sounds like somthin they would do. Just aslong as that fight were to take place before a fight with Soto at lightweight, I think thats all that matters. Just because Humberto is no lightweight. If they want him to be a lightweight, let him throw down some of those nutritions, change his diet up, and let him gradually and comfortably move up too. Then you got a fight between Paq and Soto at lightweight.

            Uh oh...

            IMO,
Soto's only real shot at Pac is during a ****ing lull, which is between now and
            when Nate/Guzman, Casa/Marquez, and Hatton/Malignaggi clear up. that's good
for one --just one-- fight. after that, it's about facing the winners of the three
            mentioned matches.

Pac's only got a few more years in the tank, and beltholders might be the priority.
and whoever isn't facing Pac --among Valero, Soto and Antillon-- is going to have
to wait for another chance that may not come. Even the losers of the Nate/Joan,
JMM/Casa and Ricky/Paulie matches will be somewhat SOL if they're interested in Pac.
Except maybe JMM, should he lose to Casa.

Pacquiao and his wife already made it clear that Pacwill retire at the end of 2009.. A fight in November and 3 more fights next year.. As what Barrera said beat Hatton and retire and you'll become a legend in Boxing.. Those few matches left for Pac is enough to beat Hatton and the best Lightweight contender out there next year..

...which, yes, as I said, leaves little room for guys like
Soto, Valero and Antillon, EXCEPT for this present stretch
between now and the end of 2008.

JMM is going to want a rematch whether he beats Casamayor or not,
and is a match potentially second only to Pac-Hatton for fan interest.

Let's say Marquez loses to Casa.
That means that post-present-lull, Pac has a lineup of fights vs. Hatton,
Casamayor, probably Campbell, and (cramming him in) Marquez. Aside from
them, it's maybe only Amir Khan that gets any pop for potential PPV,
and that ****in' ***** might have no choice but to face Pac if called,
given all of Khan's own, prior calling-out.

Where does that leave Soto and Valero, if Antillon is for this year?
Maybe Valero's title earns him a squeeze-in fight. Dunno.
If Soto ain't it this November, he ain't it ever.

Its funny how you insist on Pac's nutrition diet considering that there is really nothing wrong with it if its true. Pac has more than 10 professional fights in Nevada. If any of those substance that he is taking(if he is taking them) is illegal then the Nevada state commission would have caught and suspended his ass the way they did to James Toney. Soto should do the same thing 'coz its seems to be producing great results for Pac. Maybe you can suggest that to JMM too.

Anyway, Antillon is too green, he needs more seasoning.. You cannot rush the kid by matching him against a p4p fighter like pac. Maybe Arum can match the kid against Valero. See what this guy is made of..

Soto is official.. Antillion is far from reality.. Why the **** Pac would fight him? At this point of time, there's no time to play around.. After Soto, it's Hatton then finish his career at 135 as the undisputed champ.

About Khan, His camp said no after the Diaz demolition.. He's not ready to face Pac.. Freddie Roach will train him so most likely it's impossible.. Khan is a british and he'll get a fanbase with or without Pac..
