Manny Pacquiao To Face Humberto Soto on November 15

No man, you may be right. I must admit that I've only seen Soto in about four fights. I've watched his Guzman fight a number of times though and while Guzman is faster than Pac he doesn't hit as hard, but, he was owning Soto really. Out boxing, out speeding and there was simply not a lot Soto could do as he didn't have the one punch power or skill to make any possible fight of it. Though that was more about how good Guzman is rather than how bad Soto might be. His other fights he looked pretty good but he is still your typical semi-slow, brawler fighter. He is probably faster than Diaz and definitely hits harder but I still see it being a mis-match.
I don't know. What do you think BJ? Any chance for Soto?
For one, Soto is a big guy, we saw it against juarez, i think hes natural at 130 and he has power. Because both him and Pac are jumping from 126/130/135 i think their power just might actually cancel each other out, the reason why is because soto has some ****ing heavy hands. Soto is also blowing out people hes supposed to, Pac did the exact same thing. Soto has size and has shown a very good chin, there was that fight with Bobby Pac where soto actually looked hurt, but Bobby was ****ing swinging for the fences anyway and i think soto would be much more cautious against Manny.
The thing is, Soto is the one guy i legitimately think can hurt manny an exchange, and unlike David Diaz, Soto was legit at every weight class he was in. I just dont see this as some blowout because in my opinion this guy is young and hungry and legit, how many pac opponents could you put all 3 in the sametence? JMM isnt young, Morales isnt, Barrera also isnt, Solis wasnt really that legit. but this guy has all 3.
Again, its because i dont overrate that win over david diaz is why i think pacs KO power at 135 isnt exactly murderous, the one advantage that pac has over soto is speed and movement. But if pac is standing right in front of him, there is no garuntee he wont get hurt.Comment

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum says that rather than get delayed over obtaining the medical clearance of WBA super featherweight champion Edwin Valero from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, he plans to pit Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao against Humberto Soto (47-7-2, 28 KO's) at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on November 15. Indeed it was. Ok, I shall now look forward to this fight. I still think he will be way too slow though for Pac. As you said, and that was one of the fights I saw, he was getting hit a fair bit by Juarez and he is not what you would call a fast, good combination fighter. If you compare how Juarez was hitting him to how Pac would be hitting him, it makes me wonder how long Soto would be in there. If Guzman had the power of Pac in the higher weights he's been in Soto would have been out of there pretty quick.
Anyway, as you said, he does have a good chin but if it's getting hit non stop and he's not hitting anything.....
You're right though, this will probably turn out to be one of the better fights of the year especially as Soto and his team would study the Diaz fight and learn to get in and fight on the inside instead of the weird ****e Diaz was trying. What the hell was that anyway? It looked like he was trying some Mayweather crap there for most of the fight, except instead of making the punches miss, it helped the punches to hit! Why, oh why, did he keep dropping his right arm and sticking his chin out? Just check out how he got knocked out in one of the Pac fans sigs of it. It's dementedly hilarious to see a 'pro' boxer doing such a baffling thing against a big puncher when he was about as much a defensive expert as Pep was an unskilled brawler!Comment
