well thats because he's strolled into the division and expects to be taking on the best guys straight away. its not that people are ducking him, its that he hasnt proved himself against heavyweight opponents yet, this is all very bad marketing strategy for haye

the way Haye punches, the technique in how he twists his hand right on delivery, is awesome
I agree Haye is world class at cruiserweight. I need to see how he moves at heavyweight. The Klitschko brothers are a jab and a straight right hand combined with using their long arms to keep out of range. No Slipping punches, no getting inside, no body work of significance, no head or foot movement (no need, they keep out of range). I don't know how can anyone say that's world class. I give them the credit for being relatively agile for their size and mutant strong.

wlad also has an excellent left hook and underrated footspeed for a big heavyweight

I like Wlad's left hook as well but i think he has a better handspeed than his footspeed.

The whole prove yourself at HW excuse is being over played somewhat. Theres guys moving up and down in weight divisions to face the top guys left right and centre. It's not majorly different from CW to HW, Hayes walk around weight is pretty high, and he has fought at HW before, something people don't seem to realise.

Skelton offering himself is like Jade Goody offering herself. You don't want that.

They do, it's the level of the opposition he fought which doesn't convince people.

Haye ducked Cunningham, yet claimed to clean out the CW division, then jumps to HW and tries to get a huge payday without paying his dues (like Holyfield, who fought 6 real HWs like Dokes and Thomas before getting his shot.)

Exciting fighter with fast hands and I look forward to seeing him fight a live body at HW for once, but let's be realistic.
