i really cant understand williams thinking on this,

there is big things coming for him at welterweight

why move up 2 divisions to fight pavlik?

At 6'1", Williams won't stay at Welter too long. He struggles to make 147, It'd be in his best interest to move up and not risk being weight drained and KO'd.

Paul is a natural middleweight....

Pavlik style should do Paul fine..str8 up and down fighter...Paul and Pavlik will go toe to toe and fight it out...I cannot wait.

Yes it will be good, But the real question is... Can Paul handle what put Taylor to sleep and made Lockett a little *****. Pav will take some hits but I dont think Paul will want to stand toe to toe with them types of punches....

Paul hits pretty hard too and has one of the best chins in the sport...so I dont think that will be a problem..

yes IN FACT.... Joe has said he would FIGHT BOTH JONES and PAVLIK... He just said he would fight KELLY PAVLIK up until he destroyed his daddy's fighter lockett (why the hell that fight happened is beyond me).... made a disgrace of him... sad. I hope that POS retires too, we don't **** fighters like that in boxing... Anyway to joe's defense, I believe he will stick to his word and fight PAV regardless of the outcome with Jones.. This is too simple a reasoning to bel believed. Enzo knew his fighter had no chance. Lockett was a bum ok, a top of the line, grade A bum. Both Cal and PAv could've beaten lockett with one arm. PAv challenged Cal. If he wanted the fight, he would go to 175 and fight him. What is said before and after winning the 175 lb title is water under the bridge. Arum is a pig for saying HBO should've forced the fight. He looks like a pig too.
