I posted this in another thread in response to Thompson's age:

In boxing years I'm not so sure Thompson is older.

Wlad is 32, but has 53 pro fights, has lost 3 times by KO and has been knocked down 11 times.

Thompson is 36, but only has 32 pro fights, has never lost by KO and has never been knocked down.

Wlad turned pro almost 12 years ago. Thompson turned pro 8 1/2 years ago.
JJ I'm interested to know who were the fighters KD'd Klitschko.

      I recall Pannell -1, Sanders-4, Williamson-1, and Peter-3.

At the same time, I don't regard it as evidence that he is "chinny", since Pannell had a huge KO record and with him it was "kill or be killed".

Then in the Sanders fight, the 1st KD was DEFINITELY helped by a simultaneous massive headbutt, and he actually still kept getting up. With all his reputed power, Sanders couldn't put him away.

With Castillo, it was obvious that he was caught off balance and staggered backwards trying to keep his fooring. It's very clear that his body never touched the canvas, as he squatted with his right glove just momentarily touching the canvas. He stood up immediately and continued to give DaV a boxing lesson .............

And all observant viewers could see that the Peter 3 KD's were really 1 rabbit punch, 1 shoulder grab and push, and 1 very doubtful graze as K tripped when going backwards. The commentators specifically pointed all this out, and obviously the ref Randy Neumann was blind. He has a habit of being careless. As we know, Klitschko gave Peter the best boxing lesson he ever had, winning EVERY round not scored against him by the ref.

I this same Peter fight, although shown up as a raw amateur, he still managed to land several ver powerful right hands to Klitschko's jaw, Yet this didn't bother him one tiny bit. So, since he'd had 45 fight, and had vertainly been whacked cleanly on the chin in many of them, if he was "chinny" he's have had many losses by KO.

Well....he doesn't, and every loss can be truthfully explained-the real reasons being something other than a weak chin.

I don't disagree with you, and seeing Haye take a Heavyweight shot could change my mind...but his chin is as questionable as Wlad's and given the size difference that's a problem.

          Typo

Sorry James J. I wrote "with Castillo" when it should have been "with Williamson".

Yeah, Haye outclasses him with his 1-0 record against heavyweights.

Puritty put down Klitschko once, against Brewster Klitschko had a standing 8 count and went down after the bell.

Like he hasn't improved since those fights. He'd crush Sam Peters and Knock him out probably in the process now

I'm not saying he hasn't, I'm simply delivering information on how many times Wladimir has actually been put down.

I expect Wladimir to put on a good showing tomorrow.

Another ******ed post from the #1 Klitschko hater on Boxingscene.

Haye cant even take a punch from super middleweight bums....Wlad will easily KO Hypejob Haye in 1 or 2 rounds.

Say, with these capitals, are you trying to convince yourself he cant fight?
