"Dawson's pretty mediocre"? That's why he is the unbeaten WBC World Champion and why he beat Glenn Johnson.
Perhaps you should get a clue and clear "mediocre" in the dictionary.Comment

Dawson's youth will prevail, if Tarver was younger, Tarver would probably win. The winner of this match will most likely take on the winner of the Johnson/Diaconu match. Interesting to know is that both Johnson and Tarver are 39 years old. I think it's time for the old foggies to retire. None the less I have Johnson beating Diaconu though.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 07-11-2008, 02:57 AM.Comment

most 39 yos should retire but not johnson. he's one of the top 10 fighters on the planet right now....Dawson's youth will prevail, if Tarver was younger, Tarver would win. This sounds like a ****** fight that heavily favors Dawson. He's faster and probably stronger then Tarver.Comment

Good to see things finally signed. I have Dawson winning by a unanimous decision by a decent margin. Even when Tarver was in his prime, southpaws like Eric Harding got the better of him and he never did match well against technical fighters. Dawson would still win IMO. I personally have never seen anything special in Tarver. Good fighter, but not all that great. He has always been one dimensional, never had a full arsenal and was often passive when being out boxed.Comment
