when marquez visited phillipins soon after pacs controversial win and asked gentleman pac for a rubbermatch i found it disconcerting the way some posters gloatingly interpetid it.
it was disrespectfull.

who is marquez?

just the guy who in front of pacquiao's countrymen, said to pacquiao's face that he wanted a rematch and he felt he won the fight. all pacquiao could muster up was "mmm, enaaaaaa, uhhhhhh, i was lucky to win the fight" etc...

in other words, pacquiao was punked in his own country in front of all his countrymen.

pacquiao KNOWS he lost the rematch that's why he's steering clear and safely away from marquez just like he's steering nice and safely from guzman!

funniest part of this thread is how im called a "pac hater". just because of this thread? really? so me defending his p4p status and saying how good it feels to have an actual FIGHTER at the top of the sport doesnt matter.

Elvin, Elvin, Elvin. im sure you know that i actually discuss boxing and my thread record can prove that. Unlike you, I dont dedicate my time just to one fighter. And I also don't belong to a racist, internet society dedicated to spreading propaganda and childish banter all in the name of one fighter. Hopefully, one day Mr. Steed, you will find that boxing is actually more than just Floyd Mayweather Jr. and you will make threads and posts about other fighters. Especially those who aren't just black.

No, it's not funny, and it's really ****ing old.
More than half of it isn't about Marquez anyway, they're just inciting, or
returning fire for, the same kind of bull**** from similar Mexican "fans".
Best to let the morons get off on exchanging each other's digital spit.

Ignore those ****ers and take solace in the fact that most of those

You may not be a hater but you're definitely narrow minded. You take comments by a few Pac fans and try to lump the whole group in with them. I've seen plenty of JMM fans discredit Manny saying he had no business winning those two fights, but I don't presume that the majority feels that way.

what you suggest is common in youtube comments by ****ing idiots and conveyed in the comments of the overly-nationalistic variety of pinnoys who say racist things against mexicans, but I think that intelligent, objective fans of Pac acknowledge JMM's genius boxing brain. He is a brilliant counterpuncher and has gotten super aggressive as of late which is awesome. I had him winning the second fight (barely), and I am a huuuuge Pac fan.

The one thing I disliked about Marquez was how he cried about being robbed after the second fight. In a fight that close, no one was robbed- it can be seen either way. Raf did the same thing against Izzie, going as far to say they would sue the commission I believe. That kind of poor sportsmanship is annoying, but there is no denying he is a brilliant boxer.

He'll be facing another brilliant boxer in Casamayor and will have his hands full. I hope he didn't bite off more than he can chew, because if he loses, he might blow his Pacquiao rematch, or at least postpone it for another 4 years....
