Should there be a Shane Mosley/Cotto Rematch?

I scored the fight for Sugar Shane, though I can understand it going either way. I think Shane deserves the fight and is still among the divisions elite. That being said, a rematch could be benefitial to both fighters...

Shane is a class act that gave Cotto everything he could handle. Shane would love the chance to prove he is the best in the division, and the only way to do that is to beat Cotto.

Conversely, Shane gave Cotto his best seasoning as a professional fighter to date and a rematch could further advance his skills (which will be good when Floyd steps up to the plate, which I believe he will in 2009 when the marketing potential for this fight reaches the maximum level). So, this fight could be benefitial for Cotto as well.

Either way, do you think this should go down (Assuming Cotto beats margarito, which I think he will), and why or why not?!?

I think Mosley should earn it first, I thought he lost the fight closely but clearly 115-113 for Cotto was my scorecard, he hasn't done anything since and I think Cotto has bigger fish to fry after Margarito, more specifically a man named Paul Williams.

Cotto would have given him an immediate rematch but Shane didn't want it. I think he has to wait now because Cotto has better opportunities.

he needs to earn it, there would be no gain for him to beat him again unless he gets a title. Therefor no, he doesn't deserve a rematch.

Mosley has a few good fights left in him and I think he will beat the very talented, very unintelligent Zab Judah.

Against Cotto the outcome would be the same. These two are like ships passing each other in opposite directions. Cotto will improve and Mosley will decline just enough by the time they fight, to give Cotto a more decisive win.

            In other words, no!

I say no because Shane basicly conceded that he lost after the fight. His career is coming to an end, why not beat up on one trick ponys like mayorga? He's earned it.

mosley needs to stay as a gate keeper or just fight some names and retire by next year. He has given us some great fights and i don't want to see him go out with a ko
