Right now it's Pacquiao. Beat Marquez and moved up in weight to beat David Diaz.

If Nate Campbell beats Joan Guzman, that would be pretty impressive but I don't know if it trumps Pac's accomplishment.

Right now it's cristian mijares imo. Pacquiao's win against Marquez was to close and beating David Diaz isn't that great (still good). Anyway back to Mijares, this guy has already fought twice this year. Beating Jose Navarro, an olympian, who was a top 115 contender. Then next fight he puts on a masterclass performance with Alexander Munoz, who was a very good oppnenot. Not only that he also unified the WBA title, went from #3 to #1 according to The Ring, and has sky rocketted to being #8 on the p4p list when he was just 31 at the end of 2007.

Although if Nate Campbell beats Joan Guzman, it'll be Nate Campbell. Or if Fernando Montiel beats Mijares then he should get it. Also if Pacquiao destroys Valero I can maybe see it.

It's too early to tell. But as of now I see Pac, Pavlik, and Mijares tied in 1st place.

And yes, I'm aware that he hasn't even fought.

If Willie Pep once supposedly won a round without throwing a punch, maybe Floyd can win fighter of the year without even boxing? I mean seriously, he's that damn good!
