**** no. Calzaghe is the most overrated fighter of the past decade. The guy's career has been a joke, and don't make me bump my Calzaghe thread to prove my point as to why.

We know that a large contingent of people who in fact are avid calzaghe fans, are quick to question Jones' career and claim he's a "fraud".

Now the time is upon us, and the same people who are so happy he's out of the P4P lists are now faced with a serious dilemma.

Jones has a good chance at beating the number 2 P4P fighter in the sport.

(^hahahahahaha@ the #2 rating I'd never believe that myself)

I mean according to them.......Calzaghe is the second best fighter no?

I will rate jones in the Top 10 P4P if he beats Calzaghe, because Calzaghe is the second most talented boxer in the sport today. I'm not sure where I'd rate him, because one surprising win really has to be backed up with more, but it would be a massive achievement. I'd say it would be more significant for Jones' ATG status than his current P4P, but would affect both.

Unfortunately for Jones, he has no chance in this fight.

That's really the only major factor to me. He looked just flat out terrible against Hopkins..........and if he's that slow footed at that weight he's going to get easily outclassed en route to a beating.
Do you really think JONES would also be that fast??

Yes, if Jones were to beat Calzaghe it would put him in the p4p list. I think it is unlikely, Joe Calzaghe is no Prince Badi or Antony Hanshaw. Roy has lost his step, lost his reflexes and lost his killer instinct. He used to intimidate guys into nervousness, nowadays he's known for being chinny and really not that hard to hit.

Old hopkins is younger as a fighter than old Jones, and Hopkins has spent much of his career making his opponent look bad, including Jermain Taylor.

I love how people argue with an absolutely clear cut decision win by saying things like "lol he wuz jus hittin gloves and forearms" and "lulz he wuz taken to skool!".

Roy Jones has to be put back into the top ten P4P if he beats Calzaghe. Calzaghe is many peoples #2, so I'd at least put Roy in somewhere down the bottom of the list.

If RWK says Jones is going to win, bet on Calzaghe.

Last time RWK persuaded me that another fighter was going to win (He picked Mosley against Cotto) I lost a tenner.

Here's to you RWK, that's the last time my wallet catches straight right's all night.

Calzaghe by UD, 12 rounds to nothing.
