Definitely. They're also actually all fighting each other which is quite rare these days. Best division, as ever, in boxing!

Even with Mayweather in welterweight I would still say, especially with Pac, Guzman, JMM and Valero moving up, it is easily the most talented division as well as the deepest.

The other great thing about lightweight is the series of, not only great match ups, but the different types of fighters being matched up. You have big punching, exciting brawlers like Katsidis along with slick southpaws like Casa. Crazy aggressive guys like Pacquiao and technical counter punchers in JMM. Hard, crafty veterans like Campbell with fast, non stop pressure fighters like Diaz. Great prospects like Khan. The list goes on!

Whether Floyd is there or not, what's the difference? All the 135 compete with each other while Floyd hasn't fought in his division for the last 3 years.. What's interesting if he had chicken out against Margarito and doesn't want to fight Cotto?

i would say at the moment lightweight, it seems to be more open and have less onesided fights..with the welterweight division cotto, margarito and williams are the top 3 and i can't see any of the fighters below catching them for the time being

135 is the best and deepest right now.
