it's because most karate/kung fu/tae kwon do guys training consists of being in an airconditioned dojo throwing kicks and punches in front of a mirror. their competitions consist of points sparring which emphasize just making contact and not hurting an opponent.

boxers/muay thai is so effective in real life because they do hard sparring and condition their bodies hitting heavy bags and pads. they know what it's like to hit someone and get hit.

wrestlers/bjj/judo guys spend hours grappling with each other and throwing each other around. the competition breeds improvement.

If any of them could, it would be muay thai. But i really dont think kicks help very much from a defensive stand point.

If by grappling you mean grab her ******* while I hit it from the back then the answer is yes.

Bruce Lee was a martial artist 1st. then an actor. So good that he trained actor Steve Mcqueen who then became a 12x world champion. Bruce Lee is not invincible but he would destroy anybody any size.

I took Kenpo as a child...

THIS would HAVE.. THIS WOULD HAVE... been a good video for saying boxing is a superior sport somewhat...

BUT! BUT!........ Those guys were all White belts.. and their kicks didn't even have the intent to hurt the boxer. I would hurt a boxer if i could kick to the head and stomach with straight or side kicks and then move.. My foot can go over my head...

                    Imagine that for an uppercut.

Imma have to say that if any of those karate people were atleast orange belt.. or purple.. The more skilled boxers from this video would have lost.

Try finding one with some kickers that aren't white belts.

it all depends of the skills of the individual fighter.

there are some karate schools that believe in hard sparring and real fight competition but those are rare nowadays.
