When you're at the top ( Mayweather)

Why should you be expected to call someone out? Really now all this crap about him ducking Cotto needs to stop. Cotto is the challenger not Mayweather. The situation Mayweather is in he shouldn't be expected to call out those beneath you.

When you reach the top like Mayweather you get challengers. Cotto never challenged Mayweather and on principle Mayweather shouldn't call out Cotto. Cotto is the one who is seen as below Mayweather, Cotto should be the one with a point to prove. I don't remember Cotto calling Mayweather out though.

The public was demanding this fight. The fighters themselves shouldn't have to. That's why they hire promoters, managers, and publicists.

Man, Its best you listen to what he is saying. He makes a great point. Cotto was NEVER serious of fighting Mayweather. Cotto never pushed for a fight with Mayweather.

I agree, but why didn't Cotto push for this fight. For example, Like Hatton did.

Cotto himself never pushed for ANY fight, yet they all got made. If u wanna blame someone, blame Arum, because im 100% sure that if Arum was to get Floyd to agree to a fight with Cotto, Cotto would jump on it in a heartbeat.

What is pushing? Hurling insults? Cotto has stated he would like to fight Floyd, being as they were both top guys in their division. Any fighter,
irregardless of its Floyd or anybody else should be going after the best fighters to continually prove their worth.
