    Terry Norris vs. Floyd Mayweather

At a catch weight of 150 who do you think takes it?

Love Floyd but Norris was a monster.....i dont know if Mayweather could take that.....plus Mays more defensive minded while Terry looking to kill you. Its a toss up for me but im barely leaning towards Terry just based on his power.

Terry was a great fighter, but that chin of his was horrible. I know Mayweather hasn't shown great power at 147 but he also hasn't lost to anyone like Simon Brown. I think Mayweather takes this one.

Mayweather would win, maybe even by late stoppage.

50/50 fight to me honestly because Norris has the size advantage, he possessed a good jab, was fast and threw great combinations but his chin was horrible so who knows what might happen.

lmao when i clicked this thread i thought about how norris would get touched a couple times and be out on the canvas, mayweather isnt a big puncher but seeing as how norris would go in these ****ing defensive lapses and get caught, i dont see how mayweather would lose against that guy.

true.......really i think its about whoever catches the other guy first. They both could put each other on the canvas......coulda been a classic fight

Thats a tough fight for both guys, I think Mayweather would have major probelms with his size and strength and I think that Norris would have problems with Mayweathers speed.

I would say Mayweather by UD. I don't think he would take the chance of trying to trade with Norris and would dance his way to a victory.

It would have definitely been a very good fight, both of them are very skilled, Norris had very good power, Mayweather doesn't have very good power but Norris' chin was horrible so a knockout for Mayweather could happen, would've loved to see it.

I agree with u Silencers im glad u brought up his jab because IMO he along with Ray Leonard is one of the best exponents of the double jab right hand closeing the distance quickly that corridor of uncertainty where most fighter get hit on the way in ,he was also good at getting up on his toes and boucing in and outta range whilst reeling off quickfire combos as u said

but also like u said there is the danger he could get tagged so u never know 50/50

When it came to out boxing floyd, nobody has done that. When fighters tried to rough Floyd up...some have had success, but nobody has beaten him doing that either. It would be a good fight. Floyd wins by uanimous decision using his jab, movement and speed. If Floyd had time to get used to 154, he could stop Norris, but since he only fought dlh at JM, I'll stick with the unanimous decision.
