Sucks that the fight is in Vegas instead of New York, call me crazy but US fighters fighting in the US should have a home crowd backing them. I'm not sure how big Malignaggi is in New York, but I'm sure he'd have a decent-sized vocal fanbase over there. I worry that the judges will get caught up in how Ricky's drunk fans react every time he throws a flurry and favor him.

I think Malignaggi can win a close decision, most likely a split one. He has gone toe to toe with Cotto, so I don't think he fears Hatton at all. Hatton doesn't move his head at all so the Magic Man can score with the jab at will, letting him dictate the pace of the fight. It will be a close fight, but I would be very surprised if either scores a knockout.

True, If you believe Malinaggi is afraid of Hatton's power then you have SERIOUS issues.... He went 12 rounds with Cotto (WHO WOULD BEAT HATTON....BADLY).... forget about it..... Paulie has just as good of a chance to win as Hatton does... I just see Paulie out boxing him and winning a Split or UD.... as far as who has a bigger fan base... well Paulie's not that famous yet but would be favored possibly in NY, VEGAS? no way... either way it wont matter, i don't think fans will have anything to do with it.. Hatton's crew should just stop the BS, nothing is wrong with stating that NY favors Paulie......

This is going to be a bore fest ,expect alot of grabbing and hugging from both fighters.I think that Pauile will keep it interesting using his better boxing skills and using both his jab and footwork to fustrate Hatton but since Paulie hits with the strength of pellets expect for Hatton to wear him down in the latter rounds using his bully tacticts.Hatton should win this one via split decision but will look bad doing so.

if you are gonna refute something, make sure you do at least some preliminary research before you spew bull**** from your piehole...it smells bad and nobody likes to wade through bull****. The only difference in flying from Manchester is that there are no direct flights to vegas listed on expedia (though there are other sources). In comparing 1-stop flights, a trip to NYC via JFK is still substantially cheaper than to Las Vegas. To JFK, prices start at $532 whereas flights to Las Vegas start at $826. Even if there was some fancy vacation package that can only be found by flying to Las Vegas, I would assume a comparable package in NYC would still be nearly $300 cheaper because of the cost of flying. If travel agents can willingly shave $300 of flights, then help everyone out and give us the number to such an agent. Thanks for the bull**** but its not welcome here. If you are worried about your masculinity being in jeopardy because of my comment about Brits being gay, then tell Hatton (who I am a huge fan of) to stop being a ***** and fight Malignaggi at Madison Square Garden.
