just wondering what difference it would make being in Manchester. A lot of people are saying Hatton is a "*****" for not fighting in New York. But Malignaggi shouldnt fight in Manchester?
no, I totally agree with you there... I don't think it matters where Hatton fights, he will have a bigger fan base., he is more popular. Hatton wont do that, he gets more money in Vegas any day... That's what it all comes down to... what i was talking about earlier.. he wants a BIG PAY DAY, because like he said hes coming to the end of his career and well he wants that green... not hatin on him for that.. I WAS just asking for him to be up front about it and not try to say its for the fans. BECAUSE IF..... IF that was the case IT WOULD BE IN MANCHESTER... But he wants that big pay day... which is totally fine and understandable... he deserves it

It's called the UNITED Kingdom for a reason. Everybody seems to think the same.

I agree. I see Hatton trying to maul Malignaggi early and I think Malignaggi will start off slow just tying Hatton up when he bulls forward....In the later rounds Hatton is gonna look BAD he might do good for the first 4 rounds but mark my words. If you remember how Castillo looked in the Hatton fight, that's what Hatton is gonna look like in this one.

Yeah but like I told you, his dad already admitted they were looking for the best payday.

If it was in Manchester, people would say Hatton has gone back home after taking a beating off Floyd. He cares about his fans but he has to further his career too and that means fighting in America. Also American TV will have a say in where the fight is staged.

lol than why are you on my case about calling him out... when clearly its not about the fans and about money and pleasing the American audience or TV networks to get that BIG pay day!

Uhhh because they are looking out for the fans too as Vegas is the better option. So Hatton gets the bigger payday and the fans get to travel to Vegas again. Everybody wins.

would someone please tell me HOW Paulie is going to beat Hatton. He has done absolutely NOTHING in his career to suggest he could beat a Hatton at 60%, never mind a focused and determined Hatton. He has never ever beaten what u would call a class fighter, never mind the best fighter in the division.
Hatton will severly bully paulie, Paulie will not be able to keep Hatton off and his punches will have no effect on Hatton. Then when Hatton hits him, Paulie will try anf go toe to toe and then get ktfo. NOBODY has EVER come close to beating Hatton at 140 and hes fought far better fighter than Paulie Malignaggi. Why do people think Malignaggi who has been shocking in his last 2 fights and who is only known for getting a good hiding of Cotto can beat ricky Hatton? will somebody please explain this as I really can't understand it. The past it and **** Ricky Hatton that battered Juan Lazcano for 12 rounds will knock Paulie Malignaggi out imo.
If paulie looked like Hatton and did'nt have a big mouth then he would never ever get title fights because he's not a great fighter

LOL...who did Hatton beat? Besides an old retiring Kosta Tsyzu?

Juan Lazcano couldn't outbox Ricky Hatton. Paulie has 10x better skills and Lazcano is very small.

Its not worth comparing records, you can discredit ANYBODIES record on anything, this one is about basic boxing skills and if you know boxing you know that Hatton was running on hype and doesn't have that anymore.

Kostya Tszyu couldve been on a wheel chair with his arms tied behind his back pissing through a tube and he'd still be a better victory than anyone Paulie has beat.

Retiring? He was the undisputed and linear world junior welterweight champion. He had knocked out the number 2 in the division brutally just 6 months earlier and was ranked P4P Number 2.

Everyone Hatton beats is either "old" or "overrated". Castillo was ranked in the top 10 P4P before Hatton beat him.

Hatton is probably one of the only boxers who can fight THREE Top 10 P4P Fighters in six fights yet still be criticised.

Kosta was 36 years old........ Tell me who else he beat that I can be surprised about? Castillo was ranked in 10 P4P? Did you see how he fought? He had no legs under him the whole fight.....Castillo was/is shot!
