Tony Thompson has the highest rating of any American heavyweight on most lists.

    No.....

I'm hard pressed to name any 'better' but he can't be the best we've got.

He is as good a choice as any. Not only that, if he gives Klitschko any type of fight he will probably still be considered the best from the US.

        Thompson is probably the best.

Eddie Chambers and Chris Arreola are very good.

Travis Walker has one-punch KO power - perhaps he will turn out to be the best, but he's still unproven.

I like Chambers.....I'd say he's probably the best but a little undersized and alcks power. He's certainly the best boxer tho.

Its difficult to say, after the Wlad fight we will know how good he is.

Travis Walkers a joke, power doesn't mean **** if he can't take a punch and he looked like in his first loss then he couldn't take a punch very well even if the fight was stopped early.

That was the worst early stoppage I've ever seen - the referee should never be allowed to work a pro fight again.

In the rematch, Travis Walker destroyed TJ Wilson.

His resume looks similar to Calvin Brock's just before he fought Wlad, perhaps a little better.

However, Brock had been down against McCline, while Thompson's never been down, so there may be a difference in chin. Thomson is bigger and a southpaw...

We'll know more about Thompson on Saturday.
