I never said just because he's ripped he's going to win. Because he's JACKED he's gonna win! Nah actually, I was pointing out to his conditioning more than him being ripped. I mean sure getting ripped comes along with it, but point being was how serious he's training for this fight. Also yes, I understand Marg comes in looking ripped in nearly all his recent fights, but Cotto hasn't and look how brutal he's been. Get where I'm going with this yet?

The Best Doesn't Always Win

Don't think this is going to be an easy fight for Margarito, however he is going to put pressure on Cotto, that Cotto has never seen before. It doesn't matter how quick or how agile Cotto is. Margarito is going to hunt him, hurt him and throw more than 100 punches a round. I go with the Tijuana Tornado on this one.

If Margarito really means this along with what he said in another interview regarding that Cotto isn't his toughest opponent then I really do think Margarito is underestimating Cotto since Cotto is Margarito's thoughest opponent, I mean who is Margarito's biggest win, Cintron or Clottley? None of those are thougher than Cotto. If he really is underestimating Cotto he will be in for a long night because I know for a fact that Cotto is training exceptionally hard and is going in there to fight his heart out for the win because he isn't underestimating Margarito and he does recognize that Margarito will be his biggest fight and toughest opponent. Another thing you can infer from this interview is something we already knew which is that he plans to fire up early in the fight, which means Cotto will be boxing in the early rounds before starting his vicious assault, something I expect.

As good as cotto is he has shown me that his power doesnt have what it takes to intimidate top class fighters. mosley wasnt afraid of it and stalked cotto all night and never ran. margarito has far more power than judah torres and mosley and all three fighters rocked cotto. mosley had cotto running. margarito doesnt tire and has one of the best if not the best chin in boxing. margarito by majority decision or tko in late rounds

cotto's boxing skill is not as affective as his stalking and brawling skill. Clottey punished margarito the first 5 rounds of their fight and margarito did not show any signs of slowing or intimidation just kept stalking and throwin over 100 punches. and the same with williams margarito can take your best punch and still fight like its a sparring session and im not even a margarito fan.
