At 147lbs he hasn't been wobbled where he's on ***** street and he has eaten some pretty stiff shots. So now with his extra conditioning he's going through for this training camp, I'm sure he's seeking a type of invinciblity against Margarito's punches. At least to withstand afew that get in, but hopefully he can try to keep Margarito from getting in that many because eating bombs for a full 6 or 8 rds, you will eventually break in the 9th or 10th. I just think Cotto is too good now to let that happen.
yeah but you cant train your chin to take punches, sorry.....
even tyson went down in his prime and cotto is not god

He is just enjoying the spotlight while he can.

Ater July 26 the only spotlights he will see, will be the ones the ringside doctor will be flashing at his eyes while he's lying motionless on the floor.

Cotto has his flaws, he does a lot of things wrong. Having said that, the things he does right can be devastating to most opponents. Mosley couldn't out box Cotto, should we know believe that Margarito can do it? Can Margarito take a body shot from Cotto? We know that Margarito is one tough Mexican, but Cotto has a way of softening up tough guys.

100! this will be FOY easily in my opinion, and i cant wait for this ****.

cotto's gotta be favorite, but i wouldn't totally discount margo. he has a punchers chance.

what i'm trippin on is how every1 is reacting to what margo said.........

what is he supposed to say???? some **** like, ima give my best shot...........GTFOH!!!!!

                cant wait though!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unlike Cotto, Margarito is not a bona fide puncher. Mosley hit Cotto with numerous body shots, and he didn't go down. I don't think Margarito has more firepower than Mosley. There is little evidence that Cotto has a shaky chin, otherwise Mosley would have knocked him out. When he was fighting at 140, he was obviously weight drained and suffering from dehydration fatigue. I don't see Margarito knocking out Cotto unless it is from a long, drawn out battering and that will only happen if he can take Cotto's firepower and if he can pin Cotto on the ropes. Weren't you surprised when Mosley had a problem boxing Cotto?

Man I wouldn't say it would be an "easy" fight for him, he's just talking to hype the fight. IMO It will be competitive for both. I just hope COTTO wins so him and Mayweather will fight. Because you can bet your life that PBF wont fight him if he looses. Either way this will be a great fight...

He's going to give Margarito the same exact one.

He should tell him to get up like Margarito did Cintron.

But instead of, "Get up take your beating like a man".

                      Cotto would probably say:

"My company said you should get up so I can hurt you more!"
OMG this is the greatest post I have ever seen.
I actually agree though, when it comes to Margarito, Cotto will be more focused and determined than we have ever seen him. Doesnt mean hes gonna win for sure, but Margarito will not be having an easy fight.
