wow. didn't realize simms was so old. he was so ridiculously fast that I assumed he was a younger guy, like in his late 20's early 30's or somethin'. Thanks for the info.

Alcine is a good fighter. I'd actually pick him to beat pretty much everyone else at 154. He's well rounded. He does everything pretty well and doesn't make a lot of mistakes.

Travis Simms is a tricky, skilled southpaw and Alcine took what he gave him. An uneventful fight, but one where Alcine did what he had to do. After watching Simms dominate and stop Jose Rivera after a two year layoff, I thought he was back. He looked less than Stellar against Alcine. I think that has as much to do with Alcine as anything though.

I think I would also pick him against anybody right now. IMO he could get all the 4 titles if he got these fights. After beating Simms he even said in the Showtime interview that Don King had offered an unification bout against Spinks, but that will hardly ever happen now

Im really curious what guys like Kirkland and Angulo will have to offer 154. Would be great if Alcine could get some good wins before these two step up to the world title picture.
