If you weren't already in Classic this post would have gotten you in the red.

I never took you for an unreasonable nationalist, but if the thought that Wlad should drop the belts to fight Haye has even crossed your mind, that's just what you are.

Haye probably couldn't even beat Thompson right now.

So they have already sparred interesting I wonder how that went, at least it gives Thompson a taste of what he has to deal with.

It didn't say that Sanders was Klitschko's "first professional loss", it said "suffered defeat". This implies that he was really defeated, perhaps took a beating, at any rate got the worst end of the stick. And we all know that that's exactly what happened, helped along by sanders big headbutts.

When he fought Purrity, for his first professional loss, -his corner retiring him after ten-, it could be argued that he didn't "suffer defeat". This is because Purrity was his 25th fight in his first 24 months of boxing, he was only 21-22, and was 20 lbs underweight at 225 lbs. But the main point is that for 10 rounds he bounced Purrity all around the ring, (practically off the ceiling too) winning every round easily and completely. Therefore although he lost the fight on the books, he and his publicists could easily feel that he "didn't suffer defeat". ..............................??

I didn't mention Haye. I was referring to Sam Peter who sadly is the closest we have to a real challenger at heavyweight.

Haye could be brilliant of course but he could also be a wash. I want to see his next fight or two before I start looking at him being the greatest heavyweight of all time. He's likable enough but being the nicest chap on planet pugilism isn't going to help him if he gets knocked out by Monte Barrett.

So good job you didn't hit me with the red....

I've seen Wladimir spar before, he tends to hold back a lot.
