Wladimir Klitschko Wants To Repeat History With Thompson

WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and mandatory challenger Tony Thompson are no strangers to each other. The met in the ring in 2003, prior to Klitschko's bout with Corrie Sanders. Klitschko was blown away by Sanders in two-rounds, suffering defeat for the first time in his career. Five-year later, the Klitschko and Thompson collide on Saturday night at the Color Line Arena in Germany. HBO will televise the action in America. [details]

I don't really know much about Thompson, but I don't think he can win this. I ain't heard of one significant fight he's won.

Repeat history as being part of the most boring Heavyweight title fight ever? I hope not.

the only thing that i do get, is that who the fk are these journalists...that guy should be barred for life.

          1. nothing makes sense.
          2. everythign is wrong in the article (they never met in the ring, sanders was not K's first loss, etc).

I hope Wladimir comes in to try and make a statement. A lot of people was very disappointed with his last fight. Should be over before 5

History will repeat itself: Wladimir will face a completely unworthy mandatory in a fight which holds no importance. Wlad is in a position where he could just **** the belts, vacate and fight a real fighter. He chose to keep a hold of the IBF strap and fight a kitchen hand.

if wlad wants to repeat history, does that mean he will get blown away in his next fight?

Yeah, not to "pile on" the author but that really was an odd headline to use for that piece.
