Hopefully now some can appreciate Marquez's part in the PPV sales for Pac/Marq III

    Diaz/Pacquiao netted 250K PPV's. Marquez/Pacquiao did 500K+.

Marquez did infact have a HUGE role in the PPV success of the rematch. Appreciate.

well #1 against #2 in the division will always draw.

    unless it's a hopkins fight......

you can't get better advertisement for a boxing match than the 1st juan ma-manny fight. watching that fight made you have to buy the 2nd.

Never knew that. Margarito/Cotto is going to turn some heads as well.

you were here. you read the countless posts from Pac stans claiming that it was all Pac and JMM was little to no factor in the sales. This thread is aimed at them.

dlh beating me up will do 1million buys. I think the first fight being so great was the reason for the rematch doing so well.

delahoya would sell 250k ppv buys sparring.

hopkins is not a big ppv draw. him lineal 160 champ was instrumental for the big numbers but it was because oscar was fighting for his belt.

                calzaghe-hopkins wasn't even ppv.

JMM can be excitin dependin on his opponent. No way Pac gets all the glory for the rematch's financial success, but they basically shared it. The 1st fight was great and left unfinished business that led to a great 2nd fight fans wanted to see.
