    it's not bull.

they follow the belts through lineage.

if the lineage is broken then you have to win all 3 belts or as the #1 beat the #2.

not the ring's fault wlad ain't doing it.

too bad thats the belt that matters right... I mean maybe if Wlad chose to fight people in at least the top 5 instead of Tony Thomson, there would be a push for him to be the ring champion.

Tony Thompson is a MANDATORY, if he dosen't fight Thompson he will lose his belt.

I think he should drop the IBF, and fight either Haye or Peter next.

I'm a fan of Povetkin too, and so I'm going to hate seeing them fight.

But he needs to keep one belt, and the WBO is the logical one, since he'll have no more WBO mandatory until the later part of 2009.

No, Haye will be one of Wlad's easiest fights. It will be like Wlad vs. Bostice, or Wlad vs. Austin.

who cares about a mandatory when the mandatory is obviously not the best guy out there?? The belt he has already doesnt mean anything, fight the best to show the world who is the best, this is one of the reasons why the Ring belt is the only belt that matters.

if anything he needs to keep the ibf

the ibo is meaningless and the wbo is not really a major belt.
