    Andre Berto A Legit Contender?

If Berto Beats Collazo impressively would you put him up there in the Ranks with Williams, Cotto, Margarito and Clottey

I think a Good fight would be Berto Vs. Cintron after he beats collazo

He's great. If he can grow out of those defensive flaws, I see him ruling the welterweights in a few years. His sheer speed and explosiveness is unrivaled by that of any other welterweight out there. He needs some polishing. The Rodriguez fight kind of made me a fan, he demonstrated great speed that will give any welterweight trouble, regardless of how good they are.

He's a good prospect, he's not a true champion, but he still has a lot to prove.

Im not so sure cintron beats him, but I agree with the rest. A berto-Collazo fight will give us a better idea where both fighters stand at 147 right now.

Co-sign. He's got a chance to build himself into championship material, but he ain't there yet, he's just got a belt.

Thats what that fight was supposed to do. Make him look good against a bum, so people are oooooed and awwwed by some bull****. Cintron KO in 5. And why are people saying that Collazo is a good test. If Cotto, Margarito, P Will or Floyd fought him they would get e-blogged to death. But it's "Berto", so it's okay? **** THAT!! He is a champ, time to step up homie. And if you dont think you are ready to fight them, sorry, but you should have let someone get the belt who is willing to fight a decent fighter. Not Collazo who lost to Hatton who lost to Floyd and would lose to ANY welter. If Hatton cant beat ANY Welter, where does that leave Collazo?
