Top Rank is already making moves to set up the first title defense of newly crowned WBO junior welterweight champion Kendall Holt. Last Saturday in Las Vegas, Holt knocked out Ricardo Torres in 61-seconds to capture the title in a wild first round. Holt needs to fight Torres. I think it was complete luck that he knocked out Torres and he owes him a rematch right away. Torres was probably the closest to beating Miguel Cotto, remember? I think he would destroy hold in a third fight.Comment

Thats funny, Lamont hasn't fought anyone who can punch yet and he wants to get in the ring against Holt? Or is this forced upon him? I think he would have his first lost on his record. What would Lamont do when he fights someone who actually throws back and lands?Comment

I dont think it would be a matter of who Peterson has fought so far. Hes good, but I just think a guy like Holt is better and thats why Peterson would lose such a fight.

The only reason Holt Vs Torres 2 was even exciting is because Holt was forced to fight. I know Peterson Vs Holt would be the complete opposite, as both fighters don't come in.Comment
