Alex Arthur to defend wbo title against Nicky cook

Its becoming a sport that is all about NAME, Even though Alex is the champion Khan is the known name and boxing has become more about a NAME than a belt, I remember when Witter was the WBC champion and was calling Hatton out people were still talking about how Hatton is the name and deserve a 90/10 split in his favour.

I can guarantee you that if Alex arthur faces Khan he would make less than Khan but enough to be his highest paid fight.

Its annoying when you think about it but thats the way boxing is going right now.

Yes i agree my friend, it is sincerely annoying but im prepared to put up with annoying if the matchmaking work out i suppose, im still not convinced that Khan has done enough yet to warrant a title shot and there are some mouthwatering fights out there at the weight above as discussed below.

Most of the good fighters are moving up to lightweight or have moved up.I read JMM is moving up as well.Arthur has even been talking about moving up after a couple of defences

I can see Arthur hammering Cook and either taking the payday against Khan or taking Kevin Mitchell then moving up to have a look at the Khan fight, by that time Campbell almost certainly wont be champ which leaves (IMO) Casamayor, Guzman (who will take some beating) and Khan at the very least ... some great fights to be had in the future.
