Its very possible but unlikely in my case. Cotto will obviously will try to box ealier on only to get dragged on into a fight which will be close, but with Cotto already enough money in the bank will win a very close split decision.

I can't believe Tony came out of his face like that. More power to him if he can get it done how he claims but what happened to the last dude who popped **** about Cotto like that? Yeah it was Gomez, but Cotto was extra brutal about how he disposed of him. Cotto could've boxed him for 12 rounds but he decided to measure a cup of destruction fit for six rounds and put dude away when he decided to.

Only way Cotto loses this fight is if he beats himself by not fighting smart or being lured into an all out brawl with Margarito. If Cotto boxes smart and ocasionally goes toe-to-toe I think he'll win a clear decision.

Margarito is ripped as hell. It will be tough KO'ing Cotto and especially in only 4 rounds. I am so punped for this fight.

I can try but I havent been to his camp too much this go round. I did shoot video of him training for MaxBoxing the day I was there so I may be able to give you a snippit of that

now as for this "article" I got off a long conversation with Sergio Diaz Jr, co-manager of Margarito. Here is what he said about this article and more importantly the quote where Tony is claimed to have said he will finish Cotto in 4 if he fights and 8 if he runs

Me: Sergio sorry to bug but there is a quote circulating around where Tony has been quoted as saying he will knock out Cotto in 4 if he fights and 8 if he runs. Did Tony actually say that? It's not something I would expect out of Tony

Sergio Diaz Jr: Not that I know of. Tony is talking about winning rounds not knocking him out.

Me: Yeah someone from 411mania put up an article posted July 5th about him going to the gym and has that quote from Tony. Here is the exact quote

"I will finish Cotto in 4. Put this down in your paper, if he fights, I will finish him in four and if he runs I will finish him in 8"

SDJ: I don't think so. I know Cotto said he should knock out Tony in 9. I was there July 5th and just about every other day and Tony did not give interviews that day. The only interviews Tony has given are to MaxBoxing, ESPN, Fox Sports and HBO. Dude is lying
