I am an out of practice ****** who prays but only goes to the mosque on occassion and doesn't hate anyone, but loves black folk to the fullest. I teach white kids, black kids, Asian kids, middle eastern kids, filipinos, hatians who i have to convince sometimes they are NOT their own ethnic group lol. I teach European kids of all cultures. Don't get me to spell and pronounce their ethnic groups name and countires lol. I teach kids of all colors. 82% of the kids I teach are black. I majored in early childhood education and was a gym teacher and coach for a few years before i became an 8th grade general math teacher. I had the Afro with the shaft side burns, so how do you think I found my wife? When I first met my boy Scott9945 online, I wasn't married yet, and we were living together. lol Scott may remember when I used to be a part time bigot, but I never said anything to get kicked off a boxing message board lol. Anyway, my wife fell in love with me because of my burns. We got married. Right now I think Floyd is right to a degree. Nobody knows the extent of floyd's comments. Being on the front line for black folk in the past I can say this. The HBO announcers aren't racist. A racist and a bigot are 2 different things. They could be part time bigoted announcers, but when you talk racist or racist remarks, look up the word, and see if the HBO crew or people in charge at HBO are R-A-C-I-S-T-S. I know what a racist is, and there ideals. They love their own too. Nothing wrong with that. White folk love their own. Crying about white people hating you is just that to me crying. I've met them face to face. I've had guns pointed at me, and I've pointed them back. I'm glad I'm alive, and now I believe life is too short to hate anyone. Being a teacher, you soften up because you learn cultures from other people including kids you teach. I have kids now, and when I read posts from some people here, I believe that the things said are because you probably don't have a family yet and are just having fun with the computer. Many of you make good points, and many make sorry points. I'm here to learn from you guys, and I really haven't been learning a thing lately. I bite my tongue on a lot of stuff that is said here to I just put people on iggy. that is a run down of Boof*******. I have a tattoo that says, "Death Before Dishonor"! i will not dishonor my black folk. With that said, I won't dishonor any other race either. People should be proud of who they are. People in the past said that black people are cursed, look at the color of their skin. That could not be further from the truth. Again, I teach half black middle eastern kids, half black filipino kids, half black chinese kids, half black mexican kids, have black white kids. When you hear kids talk about how their parents met and the cultural practices, and then read some of the posts here, I wonder who is smarter kids or the adults.
