what makes guys better from the past?? considering how great of athletes we have today, Margarito would probably be considered the best ever had he fought 100 yrs ago. Im not even a die hard Margarito fan, but with his size how could you not expect him to walk through fighters from 100 yrs ago. Boxing like technolgy has advanced.

I can't really factor how he would do in a 25 round fight. Boxing was just so much different then. One thing I do know is that Margarito would be a legitimate contender during any period that I have watched boxing over many years.

Margarito is pretty good. I don't see how he's great. Marg has some of the most enthusiastic and delusional fans going. Half the time their praise sounds borderline tongue in cheek.
