To answer Viva's question. What happen is that, Other fighters can't land on blacks. Thats all it is to it. You can put them against the ropes, U can have them stand infront of u and u still won't land. Too bad isn't it?

now that i think about it, your mistake here is you say many of the black fighters are "pure boxers" and the thing is, thats what the fundamental of the sport is about, PURE BOXING. There is a reason most of those face first brawlers you like get their asses handed to them 9 times out of 10 in the face of an elite pure boxer.

This thread is ******. Boxing is a sport with many different styles of fighting. There have been many great black champions that have gone toe to toe which someone else in this thread named earlier.

many of the top black fighters are pure boxers who focus on running and defense. why is this?? the fans want to see exciting kos but these men like mayweather wright hopkins spinks taylor etc. are scared to go to war. even a fighter who could be a great action fighter like kendal holt is torn because sometimes he gives the fans a vicious ko like he did last night and then theres times where he just runs like a coward for 12 rounds. why do these people refuse to go to war and gives the fans excitement?? they would make way more money if they tried to be excting fighters.

Mayweather has gone toe to toe, he can't do that as much at 147 because he's naturally at 135. Taylor had 2 wars with Pavlik. Hopkins and Spinks aren't of the elite, Hopkins being 43. None of these fighters with the exception of Spinks "run". Your just a ****ing zealot.
