    Ref's should undergo proper training!!

Today's main event prove that some of referee's are not capable of

officiating a fight, obviously Torres was wobbled by Holts accidental

headbutt and the referee's clearly sees it and he dont do anything to

stop it.. and Soto's disqualification was cause by a mis judgement..

Ref's are getting worst and worst!

He didn't have time to do anything about it, Holt jumped on Torres right away.

lol damn, people are complaining how this too? how can you get a more convincing win than a frist round knockout where your opponent is sleep? You can't, Holt won the fight and convincingly at that. he deserves his props. A referree can not jump into a line of fire like that. he has to wait and Holt didn't give in that chance.

If the ref would have had time, he probably should have broken the action up, but it all happened very quickly. It was not immediately apparent that the headbutt was the cause of the off balance Torres.

The ref did his job, Holt took advantage of the opportunity. Dont make this anymore complicated that it really is.

I think that the best training for a referee is to have fought before. Not one or two months but really fought. That is not to say that a ref who never fought is incapable, because there are those that are extremley sound but never fought. Alot of the refs training is in the gyms working the sparring sessions and such, working distance and positioning. I didnt see this fight so I cant make a comment but it seems that the referee may have missed the call. Was this bout fought under the ABC/unified rules?................Rockin'
