as for the mayweather fight i do believe cortez influenced the fight. simply because hatton was never going to outbox floyd which is what happened. the only way he and everyone knew he stood a chance is if he made the fight ugly similar to the tzsyu match. if he stopped floyd from running around like he does then floyd would have to brawl which isnt his style. hatton wanted the match to be ugly but cortez stopped that from happening. he didnt even let any holding whatsoever. however hatton cannot make excuses because he had to box but if he was allowed to use his rough house tactics he would have stood a better chance against floyd at the very least
You are complaining about a ref who made it a boxing match and not a ufc holding match. I'm so ****ing tired of hearing about Cortez eight months later. Nothing but excuses. If anything, you should be thanking the ref in the Lazcano fight for letting Ricky have a long break to tie his shoes when he was about to go down to a blown up lightweight tomato can.

DLH actually seems serious about havin his last fight this year. I don't think we're seein Hatton v Oscar. The Pac fight can happen if Hatton beats Paulie, but that ain't a given.
