For discussion's sake we can point to one Corey "The Sniper" Sanders taking Wlad out with good shots. Puritty did lay leather on him, but Wlad couldn't even hold his arms up to protect himself.

I scored every round prior to the stoppage for Wlad, and that was shocking that he gassed like that. He was owning on Ross.
yeah but prior to that Wlad threw gazilion of some of his hardest punches and Ross took them like mamma's baked cookies. ross used his face like punching pads and he took the bombs like a man, but when it came time for wlad, who was backpeddaling the whole night, to take punches he was out on his feet.

there's a contrast between Purity's win and Sanders win. there's nothing wrong with wearing the guy down and taking him out. Sanders decided to attack faster and he was a southpaw. what ross did was smilar to what brewster had done, but lamon did it quicker.

Yeah but with all respects to Puritty's win.

That was a simple case of Klitschko taking himself out. And my initial point is there's an asterisk by that victory.

Just like one Haye losing to Carl the Cat.

i can apply that logic for almost every fighter on the verge of victory and then surrendering to a home run from an incoming fist

the victory was as legit as it could get. Yeah Wlad was exausted. Yeah Wlad was giving Ross a boxing lesson, Yeah Wlad looked like the giant that he is. But it was ross who was taking his shots, it was ross who was chasing him, it was ross who was applying pressure when other guys would lay off and wait for number 10. It was Ross who unlike Wlad wasnt tired at the end of 11 punishing rounds when he should have been.

ross had everything to do with Klitschko being discouraged, broken down mentally, and walked down physically at the end of the fight he was winning. ill say it again, the victory is as legit as it can be.
