Serious Question to People Picking Cotto to win

I made a thread on asking if Cotto had Killer Instinct and what ever. Anyways people mainly responded that Cotto breaks his opponent down. If he sees his man hurt he will just wait around because he knows he will do it again. Anyways my question. How can Cotto take that approach against Margarito? Wouldnt Cotto have to take him out right away if he hurts him? Wouldnt it be dangerous to let Margarito hang around and give him chances?

It's even more dangerous to jump on a guy who is hurt yet still dangerous and can punch and expose yourself to counter-punches.

Seriously, both fighters have their strengths and weaknesses. "Killer instinct" and "being a warrior" probably won't affect the outcome.

        I agree.

He can't get overly excited or wild if he gets Margarito hurt, it'll just expose himself to getting caught.

When you work the body as much as Cotto does, your opponents tend to get weaker rather than stronger as the fight goes on. You can afford to be patient when you work the body.

Definitely, he can chip away at the body until Margarito wears down late in the fight, it's doubtful that he can hurt Margarito with one punch to the chin anyway.

Margarito will have limited to no answers to Cotto's versatility. Dont be suprised if you see Margarito back up against Cotto.

His answer to being beat up will be to be a warrior.

Assuming Cotto is methodical and boxes effectivly, he should have no problem decisioning margarito.

That answer will not be effective. I wouldnt be suprised if Margarito's corner stops the fight or the ref or ring doctor stops it.
