    And massive hypocrisy.

Some of these guys slammed Floyd for fighting for Oscar..now look at them.

Joe SKATED through his entire career fighting pidgeons in a pidgeon division...with a WEAKEST belt (WBO) on top of that.

Just look how they try to boost his opposition...like Kessler.

Kessler couldn't even stop Dingaan Thobela..a shot LIGHTWEIGHT.

If a Jr Middle can't KO a guy that fought the majority of his career at 135..something is wrong with that mofo.

He couldn't even stop Antohony Mundine..a glass chinned guy SVEN OTTKE ktfo..

    Sven ****in Ottke..!

Joe C's retirin soon, he's at LHW, Jones ain't in a position to demand too much $, and he could make bank for the fight. Of course he wants to do it now.

How the hell was that guys post racist dude? That's an outrageous thing to say, all he said was yank which is a common nick name often meant as endearing, and is not much different to limey. And you accuse him of racism, and insinuate most Brits are guilty of it? Wildy untrue and turns the **** back on your for saying such a disgusting thing.

The extent you'll go to, to try enforce your view is unreal.

And the fact you were in red k for ages, now suddenly got 7 green in such a short space of time, your probably an alt, some dodgey stuff going on there.

Debate like an diplomatic adult, not a opinion stamping child please, not much to ask.

I was about to pick apart some of the ignorant posts in this thread, but then I thought 'why waste my time?' The level of broken record idiocy on this forum is frankly embarrassing. It doesn't matter how many times you point out clear factual or logical faults in their argument, they still keep coming back like like a lingering smell with the same crap over and over again. Half the time they don't even address what you have to say, because they know they can't. The other half of the time they quote but fail to address, just repeating what they've said in a childish manner.

Just a quick question? Not relating to Calzaghe at all. What makes you think Mundine is glass chinned? He's been knocked out once and that was by a shot right to the temple, which would have knocked out anyone. It was a very lucky and pin point placed temple shot. He hasn't been close to being knocked out before or since.

Apart from that though, the whole "He couldn't even KO this guy!" argument is just wrong. It is neither here nor there and you could take anyones record, no matter who they are, and pick it apart with small, silly things like that. Who is your favourite fighter? I bet we could find a similar thing on that record and make him look terrible just by being biased and omitting or playing up certain information.

Duran started out at 118 and some of the biggest ****ers and best fighters ever at middleweight and super-middleweight couldn't take him out like Hagler, Barkley, Paz etc. ****** example, I know, but it goes to show that some people are really hard to knock out, whether they are journeymen, small or just plain ****.

              LOL..

              Calzaghe, stays contradicting himself..

"I want Pavlik, I'll go back down to 168 to fight him"
              -After the Lockett fight,
"I want Roy Jones, he is a legend"

              WOW..
              ------------------------
He then says Pavlik has to prove himself, but, Pavlik has fought better opposition in the last 2 years than in Joes long career lol.. (a bit exagerated)

              ------------------------
In the 90's Joe admitted that he didn't want to fight Roy Jones, "hes just too fast, I don't think i would be able to ever hit him"
              - Joe now says that Jones was ducking him all these years, and that everyone is calling him out.. LOL
Joe stayed fighting in his backyard until 06..

              ----------------

Theres probably most, but to me, this doode was a protected champ who fought in his backyard 95 percent of his career..

All his best wins have a catch..

              Eubank - Old and shot
Lacy - Ill admit, that was his best win b/c I along with the majority of people thought Lacy would beat his ass.. But people say he was over rated..
Kessler - A good win.. I dont have anything bad to say about Kessler, but he isn't unbeatable.
Hopkins - 43 yr old champ, who made JC look so bad.. The fight was close as hell.. If a prime bhop were in there, I guarantee a victory for bhop.

They all had a catch.. Period.. I can't respect a mother ****er like that..
              Even Floyd, I don't respect that mother****er..

Joe Calzaghe can toot his horn all he wants by comparing himself to Marciano and his undefeated record fighting toddlers. Of course he has a big following in Britain because they have no athletes outside of soccer. Joe Calzaghe is a very good fighter that's it, not great. Defend him all you want, the fact is he was a protected fighter with dog**** resume. Pavlik is "not in his class" but Manfredo is. Only when Roy is forty does he want to fight him. Collect your paycheck and get the **** out you joke. America will never respect you. ATGs are repspected in America.

                      Joe Who Vs Old Jones

NO question about it. Jones about 8-10 years ago would dance around the ring until he figures he's done toying with such a simpleton like joe calzaghe. NOW is a different story. Jones is older, BUT one thing is for certain he has the will to fight again. Jones will still move faster and hit harder than little joey has ever done. ONLY thing working against the 39 year old Jones is his work rate and as the rounds continue the chances of him winning are slim. Jones exposed glass JAW will not be effected by JOES little LOVE TAPS. Calzaghe to me is a joke and is nothing more than a guy who beat a young fighter named Lacy and OLD MAN B-HOP, which WE "GAVE" him that fight. Not to mention a PETER MANFREDO... The DONUT EATING FAT REF stopped that fight prematury for lil joe (not that I thought Manfredo would win). But again, Calzaghe is the WORST fighter I have EVER watched, that considers himself a legend. He is a Wanna-be ROY JONES JR that will never be anything that resembles him win or loose. Jones is a legend. Hop is a legend. Calzaghe is nothing but an undefeated guy that fought NOBODIES FOR 10 YEARS WORTH talking about. He needs about 10 GOOD HARD fights (NOW) to be considered anything. He's talking about retiring, OF COURSE HE IS... the REAL competition HAS JUST STARTED FOR HIM. I like the fact he's fighting Jones, WIN or LOOSE to Jones, his next opponent SHOULD be PAVLIK. Both fighters I have beating Calzaghe, I have PAVLIK winning by a HARSH KO in UNDER 3 ROUNDS! "AT THE END OF THE DAY" lol calzaghe will loose his next fight.... unless he wants a rematch with the "WORLD CLASS FIGHTER" PETER MANFREDO, OR BETTER YET THE LATIN SNAKE MORA (2 world class fighters right?????). I will finish on this note, the only thing impressive to me about Calzaghe is his speed. I like that, but he is still a JOKE and has a lot to PROVE to be anything more than a NOTHING! Not only that he is a complete idiot and I cant stand to hear him speak, along side the once heavyweight JOKE Lewis.... I hope when he retires he doesn't get a commentating job.

I give the hungry Jones the slight edge, but if it goes all 12 it could go either way.

Like I stated before 8-10 years ago, Jones would win by a 4-6 round KO, and that's just to give the fans a SHOW. I would BET he could have finished him off in the first rd if they fought toe to toe, punch for punch. If lil joey went down by GRANDPA HOP, you better believe Jones would have knocked him out cold when ever he wanted too. But its not 8-10 years ago, and I believe it will be a good competitive fight for both.

I give you respect Queensdawg, you have said it better than I have ever said it about "the protected champ" JOE CALZAGHE!
